You will oversee the design, execution, and growth of Sheevolution Africa’s core programs. You will lead and support location coordinators, manage stakeholder relationships, ensure quality program delivery, and monitor impact across all operational sites.
Your Responsibilities
Program Management & Coordination
Coordinate the planning, implementation, and evaluation of all Sheevolution Africa programs across multiple locations.
Supervise, support, and manage location coordinators and facilitators, ensuring alignment with the organizational mission and standards.
Develop and execute detailed work plans, timelines, and program deliverables in line with strategic goals.
Ensure programs are delivered efficiently, on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
Manage day-to-day communication with teams, partners, and stakeholders across sites.
Leadership & Team Development
Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight for location coordinators and program volunteers.
Facilitate regular coordination meetings and capacity-building sessions for field teams.
Promote collaboration and learning across teams to foster a culture of excellence and accountability.
Stakeholder Engagement & Partnerships
Engage with schools, community leaders, government representatives, and partner organizations to support program delivery and community buy-in.
Represent the organization at meetings, workshops, and events as required.
Build and maintain relationships with local and regional stakeholders to drive program impact and sustainability.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
Collaborate with the MEL team to design and implement tools for program monitoring, data collection, and evaluation.
Track program progress and use insights to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Prepare comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders, including donors and partners.
Resource & Budget Management
Support budget planning and ensure responsible use of resources in collaboration with the finance team.
Coordinate logistics, materials procurement, and distribution for smooth program execution.
Assist in identifying funding needs and aligning program plans with available resources.
Visibility & Advocacy Support
Work with the communications team to document success stories, testimonials, and program milestones.
Support advocacy initiatives that promote girls' education and leadership development.
Identify opportunities to amplify program visibility and impact through events or partnerships.
Competencies
Proven project coordination and management experience
Strong leadership and team management abilities
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and manage multiple sites or projects simultaneously
Experience with community engagement and youth-led initiatives
Proficiency in program monitoring and reporting
High emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management tools
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in program coordination, community engagement, or nonprofit operations
Experience working with youth or girls in marginalized or underserved communities
Familiarity with Nigeria’s educational and development landscape
Fluency in English; knowledge of local Nigerian languages is an added advantage
